Forget everything.

"Just forget about everything and listen to your music Caden..."
- Me

Musings from me, what will they be?

Smile, frown, laugh, cry
Friend, foe, hello, goodbye.
Deep thought and shallow breath,
Will I fall victim unto death?

Late night, early morning,
Sometimes without a warning.
Then I'll wander through the day,
Looking for a needle in the hay.

When worst comes to worst
And I feel cursed,
A savior comes along
To help me write one last song.

But is it enough
To save me from the rough?
The day turns to night,
And darkness veils the light.

When out of the gloom
A melody will bloom.
But will I hear it,
Or blindly slay it?

Only day will tell,
If go I to Heaven or Hell.
Though all is not lost,
Can my soul afford the cost?

Date Tonight!

Awww yeah!  That was fun!  So tonight I went on a date with Rachel Uppencamp!  'Twas a triple and a half date with a side of popcorn, to see Acting Up and the Scera's performance of Bye Bye Birdie at.... The Scera!  The other couples consisted of the marvelous Jordan Stout accompanied by the lovely Josie Layton, the always fanciful Adam Montgomery accompanied by the elegant miss Elizabeth Stone, and last but definitely not the least, the incredible AJ Payne and his Box O' Popcorn!!! ("Yeeeeah Yeeeah Wooohoooo" The crowd goes wild!)

Anyways, thanks for the fun time guys, and great job Acting Up!  It was a great show, and I recommend it to any of you who are free this Thursday, Friday, or Saturday!  McDonalds afterwards was a blast, thanks for sharing a large fry with me Rachel! :D 'Twas scrumptious...  :P Yum...

Well... I didn't post any photos (I almost capitalized that word cause it's meaningful to me) today, so maybe next time... Till then!

     BYE!

Choir Tour? (and other ramblings)

Awwww yeah!  Well I'm super excited for Choir Tour this year, cause it's in two days.  I'm just slightly worried about getting the remaining amount that I owe turned in... O.o

Oh well, we'll see what goes down and whatever does go down, will go down.  That's life I guess.  I also hope that I'll have enough money for food and stuff while I'm there, otherwise I'll be eating a huge breakfast at the hotel each day and all the food I can while we're on that cruise.  Let's hope I don't have to do that!

Ah man I feel bad for asking this, but, if any of you readers (cause I have SOOO many... ha!) see Matthieu Miser please let him know that I need to talk to him ASAP.

In other news, I guess I'm having fun doing this blog, I'm posting stuff every day which I guess is good, even though a lot of it is kind of pointless like this...  So yeah...

Fun stuff, I'll probably post some pictures later, aaaaand yeah.

In the words of the great Tigger "TTFN Ta Ta For Now!"  (I love saying that, it's just fun!)

General Conference Sunday Sessions

Wow!  Today's sessions of General Conference were incredible.  I really enjoyed the things that were taught, I won't go into specifics, because I would take forever deciding what I thought was best, but I just wanted to say how much I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and the help I've been given by all of my friends, leaders, mentors, teachers, family, and especially my parents.  Thank you to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and the Quorum of the Seventy, as well as to the many other wonderful speakers that spoke both today and yesterday, and to the wonderful choirs and the spirit they shared that can only be felt through music.  Loved all 5 sessions and encourage all those who read this to listen to them again and apply it to their lives as I hope to do!  Here's a link to the church's website and with it the audio and visual records of April 2012's General Conference!

Photographs, yum!

Here are some photos that I liked from days and weeks that are past.
Enjoy!

Yesterday's Photography!

So yesterday, after I arrived home from school, my family and I went and saw the movie John Carter (which I recommend), and then hurried over to my little brother's elementary school for his performance of one scene from the Seussical that his school is putting on soon.  During the walk and drive time, as usual I was taking photos.  I just thought I'd share some of my favorites.  :)  Enjoy!
